About Me

My photo
Clareges
My husband and I retired in 2010, but after forty years of fulltime work for me and even more for my husband, we reckoned it was time we followed our dreams. Kids all living grown up lives and ourselves able to prioritize like many cannot, we began the years of travel, first three years around Australia in a car and caravan, and later spending six months in NZ and six months back in my husband's land of birth, all the time living a gypsy life in either caravans or motorhomes, our home in NZ leased to excellent tenants. I have split the account of our travelling life into three different blogs; one for our time in NZ, one for the years we spent in Australia and the third for "other" travels, which for now means those about Britain. While I enjoy sharing our personal travel accounts on-line, I would encourage others to take a leap in faith and do it for themeslves rather than vicariously through my blogs.
